The ten legs naturally belong to the human inhabitants: father, mother, and three grown children, all residing together under one roof. Their new abode comprises four distinct yet interconnected living units, unified by a central staircase that serves as both a sanctuary and a gathering place for the family. However, this dwelling is much more than meets the eye. It houses the son's fully-equipped automotive workshop, complete with a lifting mechanism, as well as a garage capable of accommodating five vehicles—or, in other words, twenty tires. Moreover, the animated presence of the twelve paws belonging to the four-legged family members contributes to the vitality of this innovative architectural project.

Here, all needs are met—those of the residents and also of the site itself. Located at the entrance of the picturesque Val Susauna and surrounded by wooded slopes, the structure skillfully strikes a balance between unassuming elegance and reverence for the magnificent landscape. Like a boulder nestled in a lush meadow, it doesn't vie for attention but rather harmoniously integrates into its environment. The façade's light gray design, characterized by its subtle angle, staggered windows, and glass-covered loggias, further reinforces this impression while inviting the surrounding world indoors. This unconventional spatial arrangement offers unexpected vistas, from the view of the forest glimpsed through floor-to-ceiling windows while lounging on the sofa to the peaceful sight of the starry sky through the skylight above the bed at the end of a long day.
